Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Muslim Library app for iOS (the "App") and this website. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The service

Muslim Library provides written and audio summaries of Islamic books for personal learning. Summaries are concise interpretations of the original works and are not a substitute for the full texts or for guidance from qualified scholars.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it. Please provide accurate information and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• Some content requires a paid subscription. Prices and plans are shown in the App before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Subscription management is supported by our provider RevenueCat.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, record, redistribute, sell or publicly share the App's summaries or audio.
• Reverse engineer, modify or interfere with the App or its servers.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms others.
• Share your account or attempt to bypass subscription restrictions.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its summaries, audio recordings, design and branding, is owned by Muslim Library or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Content accuracy

We work hard to make our summaries accurate and faithful to the original authors. However, the App is provided for educational purposes and we do not guarantee that every summary is complete or free of error. For religious rulings, please consult qualified scholars.

7. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services including Apple, Google Firebase and RevenueCat. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muslim Library will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and Muslim Library, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the App must also comply with Apple's Standard EULA.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
